Showing support to the coastal BC communities who have chosen Harbour Air for over 38 years is what Share the Fare is all about.
We’re sharing and you can too.
In addition to volunteering our time in the communities we serve, every Friday at Harbour Air is a “Share the Fare Friday!” For every Friday passenger flying with us, we’ll donate $1 on your behalf to our charity partners.
You can help make a difference with a Share the Fare donation of your own on any flight, any day. Ask us how!
Sharing above & beyond.
Our Share the Fare program works alongside our ongoing commitments to giving back in our communities. In our first year of Share the Fare we donated on behalf of more than 65,000 passengers, raising more than $84,000. For more information on Harbour Air’s sponsorship and donations, please click here.
Sharing where it means the most.
Share the Fare contributions are split equally between three local program partners we’ve carefully selected and are committed to supporting: The BC Cancer Foundation, Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, and Boys and Girls Clubs of South Coast BC.
About BC Cancer Foundation:
The BC Cancer Foundation believes that together, BC CAN break down cancer.
We are the fundraising partner of BC Cancer. Every dollar we raise stays at BC Cancer to advance research and enhance care for the people of B.C. and beyond by connecting personalized care, innovative research and opportunities to contribute.
At the BC Cancer Foundation we believe that with your help, BC CAN make a difference in the lives of all British Columbians. We know that one in two people in our province will face cancer in their lifetime and we’re igniting progress to break down cancer, piece by piece, in the labs and clinics. About Boys and Girls Clubs of South Coast BC:
For over 80 years, Boys and Girls Clubs of South Coast BC (BGC) has been giving children and youth something they all deserve: a place to really belong when they aren’t at home or school. At our 12 neighbourhood based Clubs and Camp Potlatch, our people – cool, young mentors and role models – bond with kids by seeing, and hearing them, and accepting them for who they uniquely are. They use activities – sports, homework clubs, creative arts, cooking, leadership opportunities, and access to the on-line world and the outdoors – as tools to connect with kids. The result? Kids choose to belong here. The organization also offers specialized counselling, family supports, and employment programs. No one is ever turned away due to inability to pay. No one. Annually, BGC serves more than 1,000 kids a day, and over 12,000 children, youth and families. For more information, please visit www.bgcbc.ca
