Seasonal Change in Service for Sechelt/Downtown Vancouver Route
Harbour Air Seaplanes announced today that its daily seaplane service between downtown Sechelt and downtown Vancouver will transition to a seasonal schedule later this fall.On October 31st, 2016 flights between Sechelt and downtown Vancouver will cease for the fall/winter season and will resume in March of 2017.
Harbour Air will continue offering year-round daily seaplane service between Sechelt and South Vancouver (YVR) and Sechelt and Nanaimo from the company’s Porpoise Bay terminal during this time.
“We feel confident in our continued ability to meet the needs of our loyal Sechelt passengers during the seasonal change in service,” said Harbour Air CEO Greg McDougall.
Harbour Air’s winter schedule will offer up to three flights daily between Sechelt and South Vancouver (YVR), where passengers are offered complimentary shuttle service to the Canada Line SkyTrain. The airline also offers up to four flights daily between Sechelt and Nanaimo Harbour where Vancouver–bound passengers may connect with one of up to 11 daily departures between Nanaimo and downtown Vancouver.
