Guillaume Fortin, Flight Operations Manager, nominated in 2014 TIAC awards!
The nominations are out for the 2014 Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) Tourism Awards, and we're proud to announce that Guillaume Fortin, Flight Operations Manager for Harbour Air Seaplanes is one of three finalists in the "Employee of the Year" category.
From the nomination: Since he started at Harbour Air 10 years ago, Guillaume has been an amazing asset to the organization, living and breathing Harbour Air’s values of Integrity, Safety, Team Spirit and Service. He has continually led by example, ready and willing to do what it takes to make sure the customer has the best experience and helping out when his peers need a hand.
Guillaume is very knowledgeable about the airline industry and flight operations. As he progressed within the company, Guillaume has focused on improving efficiency within the charter department, communication within the company, and on-time performance for the convenience of the passengers.
TIAC's Tourism Awards are presented annually and celebrate "success, leadership and innovation in Canada's tourism industry." The 2014 awards span 13 categories and recognize individuals, organizations, and businesses, with winners to be announced at a gala in Ottawa, Ontario on Wednesday, November 26, 2014.
